Sedum americanum is a low maintenance spreading perennial grown for its decorative foliage and drought hardness. The succulent has needle like leaves which form masses of chalk blue tufted stems. Plant in full sun in free draining soil, ideal in rockeries, containers, pots and hanging baskets. Benefits from summer watering and an occasional application of liquid fertiliser. Sedum americanum will grow to a height of 20cm.
